Some of the comic scenes between Sridevi, Hamsa, Shoban Babu and Subramanyam in Araku valley fail to hit the target because of their silliness. The makers could have done better in terms of the film’s writing, narration and screenplay. While genuine efforts are made, archaic storytelling is its Achilles’ heel. But, unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the film. Gouri G Kishan also impresses with her peppy and sorted acting, doing well in both comic and emotional scenes. Santosh Shobhan is a fine actor and does a good job, and he proves it again in his portrayal of Shoban Babu. However, that’s where the references end. Even a drunk trope, once in a while, pops up Shoban Babu’s name and his films. And our lead actors are named after them.

Review: Right at the beginning, filmmakers pay tribute to late actors Shoban Babu and Sridevi. What happens subsequently forms the story. Both of them meet in Araku valley and fight over a property.

Shoban Babu (Santosh Shobhan) is a big-hearted guy from Anakapalli. Story: Sridevi (Gouri G Kishan) is a young fashion designer from Hyderabad.
